Our Services

Contact us for all of your Marine Surveying needs whether it is a pre-purchase survey, insurance survey, simple inspection, or valuation.

Pre-Purchase Inspection

This is the most comprehensive type of inspection and is strongly advised when purchasing a new or used vessel. Condition and overall operation of the vessel will be examined. This covers structural integrity, electrical systems, the propulsion system, the fuel system, other machinery, navigation equipment, miscellaneous on-board systems, cosmetic appearance, electronics, and overall maintenance as well as an out-of-water inspection.

Insurance Survey

This inspection is performed so that the insurance company can determine whether the vessel is an acceptable risk. They are interested in structural integrity and safety for its intended use. Most insurance companies require a survey on older boats. They will also want to know the vessel's fair market value.

Pre-Listing & Sale Inspection

Planning to sell your Yacht? Our Pre-listing & Sale inspection will find potential deficiencies prior to a Buyer's Pre-Purchase survey by inspecting your vessel to the CFR, ABYC, and NFPA standards, potentially saving you from significant stress and thousands of dollars in renegotiation after the final survey.

Corrosion Inspection/Survey

Galvanic corrosion and stray-current corrosion can cause significant damage to your vessel if unchecked. As an ABYC Certified Corrosion Technician I can perform a full corrosion inspection testing the bonding system, shore power systems, grounding, and cathodic protection analysis.

Outboard Engine Diagnostics & Oil Analysis

We can connect our laptop to the ECU of Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Honda, & Evinrude/Johnson outboards as well as Mercruiser inboards. We can also perform an oil analysis which we send to a professional laboratory. The results will be included with your report to identify potential problems before they become major problems.
